Imagine, It is a bright, sunny day. A refreshing breeze passes by your window every second moment. It is a holiday and on top of that, you are done with all of the chores. Perfect! Ain't it? A pretty little bird chirps somewhere in the far, and all of a sudden, you want a good friend's company; not just some SNS chat. Rather some solid presence. Well, it is a holiday and all. 
But do they really have time to accompany you. I mean, they could be busy enough. Laundry, cooking, family dinner or some similar, more important stuff. Then, what should you do? You just can't let such a nice day go to waste. Keeping your laptop some company doesn't seem just right. SO WHAT TO DO?
Boom!!! You know it!, you are gonna visit your kitchen garden. But wait? Do you even have a kitchen garden? Oh come on, what if you don't? Let's start one today!

A row in kitchen garden

Kitchen garden that is also known as an edible garden or, more mischievously, a secret garden (ahem ahem), is in the popular these days. Anyone owing a little space with good air and sunlight can harvest it at a household level. This space may be your lawn, a furrow in your lawn, few pots, some scrap container or a few shelves along your wall. 
Kitchen gardening is a pleasant and profitable activity that requires an ample time at initiation, but not much, when established once. I, like many others had started it as a hobby and have found it totally worth my time. There is a lot of space for innovation and you can make it so to depict your taste and aesthetic sense. I flaunt it to every guest at my home and trust me, they get impressed!!!

Starting a kitchen garden ain't that tough. As, I said earlier, you need some space, air and

light. What you need next is some seeds and soil, of course, and a supply of water. Next up is some gardening tools. Now, put on your gloves and let's step out. Oh wait! you need basic knowledge too. So, let's get ourselves to grabbing some basics about kitchen gardening!
DO NOT HESITATE; Gardening is referred to as an easy job. Indeed, it is easy but do you know that many people still hesitate because of their lack of information in this department of kitchen garden, edible garden or secret garden. Well, here is what you need to know about first: 

  • plants you want to grow
  • their specific soil needs and types of soil
  • their specific nourishment needs and types of fertilizers

  • their specific season when to sow and when to harvest
It seems a real burden to collect everything at once. But investing patience here bears fresh, vibrant, nutritious home grown flowers, vegetables or fruits.

A vegetable garden

Though, all plants will not be equally fruitful. Rather some will only grow colorful leaves, curvy branches and shrubby thrones. But you can use them for fencing or decoration.
So, we will conclude that hesitation does no good and that a little effort will get you going!
